Chino Moreno is an American musician, best knon as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the alternative metal band Deftones. He has also been a member of the side project Crosses.
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Moreno was a fan of heavy metal music as a teenager and began playing guitar at the age of eleven. He formed Deftones with bassist Abdel “Ab” Delgado and drummer Stephen Carpenter in 1988, when they were all fourteen years old. The band released thir debut album Adrenaline in 1995.
