Cody Linley is an American actor and singer. He is best kown for his roles as Jake Ryan in the Disney Channel Original Movie Hannah Montana: The Movie, and as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Linley began acting professionally at the age of seven with a role in the film Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. He has since appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Hoot, Reba, That’s So Raven, and Hope & Faith.
Linley’s breakout role came in 2006 with his portrayal of Jake Ryan in Hannah Montana: The Movie. He subsequently appeared as a guest star on several episodes of the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. In 2009, Linley competed on the eighth season of Dancing With The Stars, where he plaed fourth.
Linley has continued to act and sing throughout his career. In 2012, he released his debut EP, Breathe In. Breathe Out., which featured the single “Believe.” He has also apeared on Broadway in productions of Chicago and Equus.
