When it comes to organizing your contacts and sending emails efficiently, creating email groups in Gmail can be a game-changer. By grouping contacts together, you can easily send messages to multiple recipients with just a few clicks. In this article, we’ll walk you through the process of creating an email group in Gmail.
Step 1: Access Google Contacts
The first step in creating an email group in Gmail is to access your Google Contacts. You can do this by navigating to the Google Contacts website or through your Gmail account by clicking on the Google Apps icon in the top-right corner and selecting “Contacts.”
Step 2: Create a New Label
Once you’re in Google Contacts, locate the “Label” icon and click on it. From the dropdown menu, select “Create Label.” This label will serve as the name for your email group, so choose a descriptive name that will help you easily identify the group.
Step 3: Name Your Label
After selecting “Create Label,” you’ll be prompted to name your label. Think of a name that reflects the purpose or theme of the email group. For example, if you’re creating a group for your project team, you could name it “Project Team Members.”
Step 4: Add Contacts to Your Group
