So you’ve got a new computer and you’re excited to have your iTunes playlists available on it. Luckily, transferring playlists from iTunes to your new computer is a straightforward process that ensures you can enjoy your favorite music seamlessly. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Select the Playlist
To begin the transfer process, launch iTunes on your old computer and select the playlist you want to transfer to the new computer. Ensure that you have access to the playlist in the sidebar on the left-hand side of the iTunes interface.
Step 2: Export the Playlist
Once you’ve selected the playlist, navigate to the top menu and click on File. From the drop-down menu, select Library and then choose Export Playlist. A new window will appear providing you with export options.
Step 3: Choose the Export Format
After clicking on Export Playlist, a window will prompt you to select a format for the exported playlist. For compatibility and ease of transfer, choose XML from the Format dropdown menu.
Step 4: Save the XML File
